Brake Bleed Trouble

1995 Mazda Miata. I just replaced all 4 brake hoses and brake calipers. This was mainly preventative. This is a track car and I was getting uncomfortable with how old some of the brake hardware was. I’ve never had issues with bleeding before.
I started with a gravity bleed at each corner until I saw some fluid out of the bleeder valve. Then I started the real bleed with a Motive Power Bleeder starting at the furthest corner (driver rear). I’ve put almost two full quarts through it and I’m still getting bubbles. I eventually went to the other corners anyways and didn’t see any bubbles. What’s really confusing me is it will bleed fine for about 20 seconds and then (as shown at 5 seconds into the video) I get a steady stream of bubbles. If I close the bleeder valve and then reopen it (as shown later in the video) the bubbles are gone. What’s going on and what do you suggest?

Update: Took the bleeder out, added teflon tape, bled again with no bubbles. I think that got it. Seems like it was pulling air past the bleeder threads. Will pull it off jack stands and road test next.
