I totally emphasize with the "name," segment of the latest Billie episode.

My first name is Bruce. It's not a common last name these days. Literally every joke that's possible to make, I've heard. So it was just delightful to hear Billie and Conan talk about their uncommon names and how they grew into them.

I love my name, but it took roughly my entire young adult life to do so. The whole segment of Billie and Conan talking about names was just so delightful and validating.

I'm glad he's taking the time he needs to be with his family, so I'm just gonna sit here waiting patiently...

I honestly think Andrew might be one of the most naturally funny person I've seen in recent years. I know there are theories about him possibly leaving after this season but I really hope it isn't so. He clearly has so much left in the tank.

I don't mean this to sound like they're a metal band, they're not, but they're a better hard rock band than I remember. For some reason their concert at Stagecoach was recommended to me on YouTube and out of curiosity I clicked on it. "Bullets" was their opener and it actually kind of...kicked ass? Perhaps Tremonti is doing a lot of heavy lifting and I know Stapp has historically been a weirdo but he actually also sounded pretty great. Not pitch perfect but he brought the energy. It was bizarre. All I remember them for were their "soft melodic hard rock" ballads that plagued the radio waves when I was a kid, but that song actually felt like true hard rock.

This was 2010 and I was in a route clearance unit. From what I remember, they were an Air Force EOD unit, and this would have occurred on June 11, 2010. They helped clear some IED'S and helped engage the enemy afterwards. I believe I remember it was a woman and man team. That's all I have to go on from memory.

A few months ago I posted about the haul I got from the food bank.I haven't been since I made that post but had to go back today. Still just as delightful. I got some fresh fruit, veggies and some frozen meat.

Shout-out to Trader Joe's, who seemed to supply a lot of the food. I don't work for them and am not sponsored, but a lot of the food I got was their brand, to include the bags.

The first thing I did when I got home was eat an apple. Freaking delicious.

The moral of the story is that if you need it, use it.
