Any non lethal ways to deal with Earwigs?
I'm not good with bugs I find them icky and gross, but I really would rather not kill them unless I absolutely HAD to. In any case, earwig season has been back in full swing for a while and they've been extra bad this year, and while a cup catch and release has worked in the past, I'm up to my ears in earwigs this time around. On my floors, crawling around on my toilet, in my clothes, on my bed, it's a bit of a living nightmare for someone scared of bugs.
Are there any specific conditions that earwigs like to hang out in that might be causing this? is there some sort of trap I can make that harmlessly captures them for easier mass release? And any preventative measures to keep them from coming in in the first place? Any help is appreciated cause I'm tired of shaking my clothes, and having to check the toilet every time for little guys.
