Canada Post marked my $543 order as “signed & delivered”… but no one signed for it??
I’m honestly at a loss right now and hoping someone here has dealt with something similar.
I ordered about $543 worth of stamps directly from the Canada Post website. Got the usual emails:
Order Confirmation
Shipping Start
and then nothing..
Just silence.
Today I decided to check tracking number, because it's been a while. To my surprise it says:
Delivered + SIGNED.
I usually will get an email when something actually delivers.
Here's my issue, I did not sign anything, nobody I live with signed anything, we were not even home at the time the package arrived.
Canada Post says a signature was captured, but:
>
So basically:
Someone signed for my package, and I’m not even allowed to see the signature?? I have no idea how to ask to not be displayed on their website.
Support has been completely useless. I called the lady helping me couldn't even reach the team responsible to check the signatures, as if no oneon that team is in office.
The part that I am worried about, is that this delivered way faster according to the tracking than usual and signed instantly. Normally mail takes around 3 hours to get to my place from the local facility.
I don’t want to jump to conclusions, but this honestly feels like:
- Either it was misdelivered and someone kept it
- Or something sketchy happened during delivery and it’s being covered up
How does a signature-required package just disappear with zero accountability?
Has anyone else dealt with this? What did you actually do that worked?
Because right now I’m out $543 and Canada Post support is useless.
