I’m building an app where people find real deals and businesses actually get seen
Not too long ago, I was a broke college student working at a business that was struggling to stay afloat.
I was seeing both sides at the same time. On one hand, I was trying to save money wherever I could, constantly searching for deals and discounts and rarely finding anything useful nearby.
On the other hand, I was behind the counter watching us work hard to take promotional pictures and videos, edit, and create different designs just to post deals and promotions that people would just scroll past.
People want deals.
Businesses NEED customers.
But the two don't connect as easily as they should.
That's what I'm building.
Dealr is a platform where people can discover real deals near them or anywhere in the world, and where businesses can post offers that don't get ignored or scrolled past.
The goal is simple. Make deals easier to find, and make them actually matter.
I'm aiming for a launch around October 2026, and I've put up a Kickstarter to help bring it to life: Dealr: Where deals get discovered, via @Kickstarter https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/dealr/dealr-where-deals-get-discovered?ref=android_project_share
I built a working prototype and I’ve been refining it over the last bit.
Does this sound like something you’d actually use?
And if not, what would make it useful?
