I got this (through invite) for my son's birthday. He absolutely will want to rip it, so the damaged box is not an issue, but it was sent in a paper bag with zero packaging. It would be fine if I knew the cards inside were ok, but I don't want to risk it.

Is this normal?

Any have any experience with returning things like this? I'd just want a replacement but is that likely? Or know if the cards inside will actually be ok?

I'd take a punt if they gave me a discount but it's not an option.
