Hi, I've completed chapter 2 but I feel a little burn out by RPGs but I really want to finish the story so I see why everyone hate it lol I want to know if I can just play the "Hot spot" missions and finish the game, or is it gonna get too hard and force me to play the side quest missions?
When you look at rebirth, the plot is mostly nothing burger lol. It's mostly following the robes and moving from town to town, it's like a vacation, and actually that's the magic of rebirth for me, they made each one of them so memorable, junon parade, Costa del sol, the queens bood tournament, gold saucer.... Until finally chapter 9 makes the plot more interesting and it continues with red's story and Gi and.... From chapter 9 onward things get a little more intense and interesting.
But part 3 is a beast of its on in terms of story beats and plot. We have icicle inn at the start and all the information about iflana, weapons, Dr.Gast, cetra, jenova and... So the start Is powerful. Then we have northern crater, attack on junon, tifa's escape, wutai, rocket town, mideel, LS sequence, under water reactor, corel, fort condor, return to midgar, WEAPONS, final fight with sephiroth... Ahhhhhh it's actually insane how different it's going to be from rebirth in terms of story and pacing. And that's just the story, we have HIGHWIND, CID, VINCENT, SUBMARINE. This game is gonna be peak.
I haven't played dirge of Cerberus. But I want to know, does geostigma get completely wiped after AC? Everyone healed? Or it's still a problem in Dirge?
