Disingenuine Employers? Or not?
I was recently hired for my cleaning expertise with a moving and storage company. They would highly praise me and tell me future projects would be mine once advertising was a go. They hardly knew me but they had all this high praise for me. They even told me I was an asset at one point. I was extremely elated that I was thought so highly of and it really boosted my self esteem. I naturally thought I was the lead cleaner on one particular project and was just doing as told but near the end of the project they completely ghosted me and removed me from the schedule. What could I have possibly have done to warrant such an extreme change with my employment and my bosses? I was just doing what I thought they wanted. They would even introduce me as their professional cleaner to other staff. I wasnt trying to take over this one particular project but now I feel as though I was stepping on toes. The entire project seems so unclear to me now and I am left so confused and heartbroken that my position with the company has been ghosted just like the blink of an eye.
