C5 Z06 2002 Fuel pump replacement
Hi everyone,
I recently got my hands on a used Z06 C5 from 2002. The car is currently not running. It cranks but doesn't start. The previous owner already tried to troubleshoot it and suspected a crankshaft sensor, as the RPM needle does not move when the engine is cranking, didnt fix it though. After doing some research, I suspect either the fuel pump, it is running but I need to check the pressure, or a fried wire somewhere.
So now I'm searching for replacement parts. I found a fuel pump from Delphi, but it doesn't have the best reviews, and I tried to find one from Deatschwerk, but it seems like they only have one fitting for the older models 97-99.
Can you recommend a fuel pump that fits and you have good experience with?
Did anyone have a similar issue, and can share what they had to do to fix it?
