Modified FM frame rail braces for more brake line clearance!
Got some FM V2 frame rail braces the other week, and finally got around to installing them. Before I even bought them I was a bit iffy about the fuel and brake line routing and clearance, especially with how low my car currently is and how bashed in the factory frame rails were. Took it upon myself to come up with a solution, which ended up being to modify the brackets to have less height from the bolt hole, and putting a rivnut into the braces, and supporting them as seen! Could definitely be better, trimming the excess of the bolts, or running them in from underneath would’ve resulted in more room, but for now these are far better than I expected, and ease my fears of the lines being damaged juuuuuuust enough for me to feel safe with this setup on the street.
