So, I got this about a year ago at pets Mart. If I remember, it was marketed as an anubias. But it never had a horizontal rhizome like the other one you can see in the background.

It does have a brown stump like growth covered in fuzz that sticks straight down from the leaf growth.

I had it planted in the gravel for a year. Slow growth, mostly maintained its size between new leaves and old leaves dying off. I pulled it out after learning that anubias shouldn't be buried, but.....

Do I shove this thing back under the gravel like it was before, or do I attach it permanently to that log it's tied to right now?
