Opening post op binder yourself

So I got my surgery a couple of days ago (monday), and when I checked up with the nurse yesterday, I had a few minor issues, and she advised to open my post op binder for a bit to make pictures to sent to the clinic (because I might have swelling).

However, I'm kinda scared to open up my post op binder myself with my partner, I'm scared he either can't close it, close it that well (that the padding won't be back in the right place), or it will cause infection.

Any advice on how to do this? Or at least take the fear away these things will happen? I'm seriously not comfortable doing this, but it might be necessary for follow up help from the clinic.

Regret rate research

So I know there are researches about the regret rates of (gender related) surgery, and especially how low trans related surgeries tend to be, but I was wondering if anyone knows the specific research?

My partner happened to have a (otherwise very respectful and kind) conversation about my upcoming mastectomy, but of course people brought up that there was a high rate of regret, and he said he wished he had the research by hand to show people the opposite (that the regret rate is actually really low, especially compared to the regret rates of other kinds of surgeries).

Does anyone happen to know the specific research(es)?
