MSU research says ZZ plants can be propagated with half a leaflet.

I came across this MSU cooperative extension article on ZZ plant propagation: ZZ plant is an easy tough indoor use choice which shows the results of propagation of ZZ plant propagation attempts using full leaflets with and without stems and nodes.

The shocker to me is that these plants can be propagated with just half a leaf and that propagation with the apical end of the leaf (the end without the stem) was more successful than the attempts with the basal end.

They discuss the optimum humidity and temperature requirements as well. Temperatures below 78 degrees F will slow down propagation. Since summer is coming, I'm going to try to do my ZZ prop in June or July and see how it goes.
