Freestyle vs rogue, advice needed!

I am finally replacing a 6 year old next grill 5 burner propane grill. Truthfully, it was fine at the time for a budget bbq, but it couldn't get hot enough to sear, and there were a dozen hot and cold spots, and extremely bad flare-ups with burgers.

I've been looking into Weber, Broil King and of course Napoleon, and I'm pretty set on a Napoleon.

There are 2 grills on sale, the freestyle pro 4 burner with the sear side burner, or the basic 4 burner rogue with no side burner.

The rogue is $100 more, which is still in my budget, but I am looking for some insight into which i should lean towards.

Will the rogue still give a good sear, not having the side burner?

What are the flare-ups like on either?

I assume the rogue will have more consistent heat control?

Thanks!

Please convince me not to buy the PC ultimate Grill w/ infrared

The last propane BBQ I bought was a cheap 5 burner next grill. Lasted 8 years but couldn't sear a steak if your life depended on it, and had numerous hot and cold spots. I finally decided I'm going to get a well known brand, and landed on either the weber spirit 425, Napoleon freestyle pro 425 or the broil king 410/420. They come in around $700-800🇨🇦 ( some on sale).

I just came across this today, the PC ultimate grill. Regular $799, on for $599. Each burner is 12500 btu and has an infrared back burner. It is in the price range, but I am afraid to try something again with no reviews. I want to move up a tier performance, I'm not sure if this is it.

Does anyone have any feedback at all?

Propane BBQ

I use mostly charcoal, but I am buying a propane bbq. I am stuck on 3 mid-range models.

The weber spirit 425, Napoleon freestyle 425 or broil king 410.

Putting quality aside, what is everyone's opinion? I'd like a good sear if possible, and less flare-ups.

I know the Napoleon has the sear burner, and the Webers last 2 burners can give extra power to sear, but I am intrigued by the broil kings flavor wave design to vaporize fat for less flare ups.

Any opinions are welcome!
