I’ve been looking into Popcorn’s $69 global plan, but I’m still on the waitlist 😅

I’m planning to use it mostly in mainland China, and sometimes in Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan.

Just curious, does the main eSIM always use a US IP? And how stable is it? I don’t need a static IP, but I’d prefer it not to jump between distant states every few minutes, or suddenly switch to another country.

Would love to hear from anyone who’s tried it!

Also, if the Popcorn CEO happens to see this… any chance of getting me off the waitlist? 😂

I’m a non-U.S. resident living in Asia with an ITIN, foreign passport, U.S. phone number, and U.S. mailing address. I use W-8BEN as an NRA.

I’m looking for a traditional U.S. checking account that can be opened remotely without visiting a branch.

Which bank should I try? Any recent successful data points?
