Hi,

My daughter (11) plays tenor sax in band, she currently uses a school instrument. I've been wanting to get her her own.

I was recently given this sax for free. It seems pretty old, I'm not sure if it's worthy trying to fix up.

It has no neck.

She stuck her school tenor saxophone neck into it and was basically able to play it. They keys all seems to work. There's a missing cork on one of them.

However the neck diameter was smaller than the neck this one should take - it was pretty loose and the octave key bar on the old sax didn't reach the lever on the newer neck.

I've got no money into it yet.

Looking for opinions on necks and/or whether this is worth putting money into or would I be better off looking for another instrument.
