I (23F) recently went to get a checkup at the dentist and was told i need to get serious about flossing because I have a dark stain mark in between my teeth. She said it could be gingival embrasure and that I wouldn’t want a tooth filling on my front teeth if it’s a cavity. Now i’m super worried and kind of embarrassed if I’ll have a front tooth filling in my early 20’s. I don’t smoke or drink tea/coffee. I know it’s only minor, but is this just an embrasure I can stabilise? or is it the start of a cavity on the side of my front tooth?
