Surgeon is aware of this and reassured me it’ll be okay but I’m just wondering if there are any other guys here with similar situation that already went through the surgery. How bad was the external pain and how did healing feel? I’m most afraid it will flair up a wave of dysphoria since I personally do get a lot of bottom dysphoria. The thought alone of being spread out like a rotisserie chicken causes me a lot of anguish

I work for a big carrier and have been here a couple of years. Recently my colleague and I took out a broker for dinner that I had never met before but that my colleague works with often. I don’t want to go into details about what was said, maybe the broker had a little too many drinks, but he went on a very insulting rant about people like me. He’s clearly a MAGA guy who believes children in schools are being forced to worship the devil or something. Personally I would never think to bring up politics to a work meeting, but here we are. My colleague and I discussed it afterwards and we both agreed it was wild for this broker to say the things he said, but he’s already the head of his office so we are unsure what we could do. Personally I’m just not willing to work with him anymore and I’m going to give all his emails the cold shoulder, but I’m wondering if there’s realistically anything else I could do. I’ve thought about it enough and I think a formal complaint is in order but I don’t know how to start

The rise of fascism/right wing ideology could not have been possible without the insane amount of attention these people get. I understand we all feel outraged at their behavior but the more attention we give them, the farther we carry their own opinions. The most obvious example of this is Trump. Liberal media was one of his biggest platforms. Nowadays every time I open social media I’m bombarded by right wing content with hundreds of comments. I just saw a video going viral of a fascist burning a pride flag and most of the people sharing it at the ones criticizing it, ffs, you’re giving them what they want
