Looking for some insight from anyone who has experienced a PIP review downgrading points from what was awarded at a Tribunal please.

Profoundly deaf and due to a significant deterioration in my condition ended up on a CoC and a review.

They have downgraded my mobility but upgraded my communication so essentially contradicting themselves.

They also removed points for preparing and cooking food because “ even though your ears are bad your eyes still work”…

After any insight in challenging this from anyone please as I intend to submit an MR.

Niche post but for anyone planning on using the NCP on whitworth street by the palace theatre it’s now a Q park. I saw them putting the signs up this morning as I was driving in.
All NCP discounts are no longer valid and it’s become very expensive to park there now.

I have an assessment that’s been booked by maximus for a PIP review by telephone but I’m profoundly deaf.

I need to change it to face to face.

I’ve tried calling by relay UK and it keeps getting disconnected. The relay operator said the line goes dead.

I’ve emailed them and they said they cannot accept email correspondence from me as I don’t have a reasonable adjustment in place with the DWP for email so they won’t accept an email.

I don’t have an advocate on my PIP claim as I can manage it myself and don’t want someone else getting my personal information when they don’t need it so they won’t accept someone else calling on my behalf- they wouldn’t speak to them!
Has anyone else had this issue and can you advise please? Short of pen and paper and posting it I’m absolutely stuck! Thank you.

There is a Go Fund Me for Aylesbury Gymnastics after their fire Gutted for them.

A massive company working locally on a council project has agreed to do an absolute tonne of work for us on our little community village green for nothing!

It would have taken us YEARS to fundraise for it and it would have fallen into complete disrepair in the meantime.

Such an amazing gesture that’s secured its longevity for the next generation. Happy Wednesday!
