Westinghouse dryer making rattling noise
I know, it is a bit more DIY than renovation but this seems like the best Australian subreddit to post this.
My 3 year old Westinghouse dryer is making a rattling noise. I took it apart and it looks like it might be one of two things:
- Idler, has a large hole in the middle (not a snug bearing), or the
- drum seal assembly, seems to be coming out on one side.
See pictures attached. Anyone with experience in fixing these? Does it look like it will be one of these, or am I looking in the wrong direction? The idler is an easy part to get, but can’t find the drum seal assembly (I think it is part 13314090014)
