I have changed my mind on conservatorships
I was so taken in by the free Britney movement. I genuinely believed that she wasn’t able to make decisions.
Then I joined this sub and discovered she was actually allowed to and that Britney was talking shit but thought conservatorships were bad (we don’t really have them here in the UK).
Now I work at a mental health hospital (previously worked in general hospitals) and I’ve come across patients who will never be able to function into society, people who would need the same level of care Britney received but threw back in their faces.
Conservatorships are a good thing if done correctly.
