Does ice maker cleaner actually remove the mineral buildup inside or just sanitize the surface

so my fridge ice maker has been making ice that tastes kind of chalky lately and i looked inside the little chute area and theres definately some white crusty stuff built up in there. not mold as far as i can tell, just like hard water deposits i think because we have pretty terrible tap water here.

i started googling ice maker cleaner and now im more confused than when i started. some products say they descale, some say they sanitize, some say both but the reviews dont really clarify which thing is actually happening. like is the sanitizing stuff doing anything for mineral buildup at all, or do you need a completely separate descaling product?

basically what i cant figure out is whether one cleaner handles both problems or if im buying two different things. our fridge is a samsung if that matters. anyone know how this actually works?

How do you strategize when chatgpt, perplexity and gemini all give different answers?

I have been tracking AI visibility for a client and chatgpt, perplexity and gemini all give different answers for the same prompts. Something that works on one platform does not always work on another. Right now I run the same prompts across all three platforms and repeat them because the answers keep changing. It takes a lot of time but I still find it hard to decide what to focus on when every platform points me in a different direction!!!!  Then I have to turn all of it into a report which is a pain on its own. My question is how are you building your strategy? Are you treating each platform differently or finding things that work across all of them? If that's so how long does that take you because I want to do this for multiple clients?

Alaska in late August: small cruise or land-based trip?

I’m planning an Alaska trip for late August and trying to decide between a small-ship cruise and a land-based itinerary. We’re more interested in wildlife, glaciers, scenery, and easy logistics than nightlife or big resort-style activities.

The options I’m comparing are Silversea for a more upscale small-ship cruise, Princess/Holland America for a more traditional Alaska cruise, or a land trip with Anchorage, Seward, Denali, and maybe a glacier day cruise.

For people who have done Alaska, did the cruise make the trip easier in a good way, or did you feel like you missed too much by not staying on land longer?

Bible Study

Just wanna share my stranged experience while reading the Bible.

Just to give a background, our virtual Bible study starts with an opening prayer, followed by reading the Scripture alternately by the members, then a closing prayer. After that, sharing na about our thoughts on the Word and our reflections. I/We do this once a week and always stay in my room para tahimik.

Before the virtual BS, before I started my day, I felt well—hindi masama ang pakiramdam ko or anything. Well hydrated ako. As I started reading out loud some verses from John 3, paunti-unti akong napapaos at parang nasasamid until my voice became hoarse. As if it wants me to stop reading.

Even if pawala na boses ko, I did not stop and still continued until we finished.

After that, nag closing pray si BS leader and included a cleansing and protection prayer from unseen forces. Because I could say what happened was really weird. Bumalik din yung boses ko sa normal and gumaan yung lalamunan ko during BS.

Or, baka natural occurence to and coincidental lang. Idk.
