How do you deal with E400 driver seats?

I've been driving coaches for the past 5 years. Recently, I've been forced into driving E400s.

I'm 6 foot, more leggy than torso.

My back is stiff and my knees are sore because I can't adjust the seat properly. It doesn't go back far enough, the brake pedal is too close to me, and my shoulders are sore due to having no back support in the seat.

I'm doing 9-11 hour shifts, so I desperately need a solution before I go mental.

Changing jobs isn't an option right now, due to a mortgage application...

Abarth 595?

Getting well ahead of planning my next car after getting a house bought later this year. Won't be changing till probably October next year.

I sold my MX5 to go towards the deposit, and I've been running a Passat TDI due to a long work commute. With the house purchase working well, and the long commute being shortened to about 20 mins each way when I move, I'm eyeing up getting something fun when settled in.

We'll only have space for 2 cars total (one each), so I kinda need something that'll do it all in terms of being fun, but also not head wrecking to own every day.

I've stumbled across the Abarth 595 as a possible contender for what I want. It's a bit different, don't see too many of them, the exhaust note is cracking, but I've also heard they're a pretty easy car to own.

Plenty of mod support, plenty of owners forums/groups, well documented issues/fixes and they aren't priced half bad for a small hot hatch.

I would go for another MX5, but wanting something a bit different having owned 2 already.

Anyone here own one? Am I mad to consider it? Any other suggestions?
