We made a small tool for sharing 3D models more easily

We’ve noticed that many users like sharing their scan results, 3D prints, Gaussian Splatting projects, and model workflows with the community.

But sometimes, screen recordings or screenshots don’t show the model very well — the angle, lighting, texture, and details can be hard to capture clearly.

So our product manager built an early version of 3DVision, a browser-based 3D model sharing and viewing site: https://3dvision.crealityscan.com

Right now, it supports formats like OBJ, STL, PLY, GLB, SPLAT, SPZ, ASC and more. You can view models in the browser, add simple presentation effects, and export images or videos for easier sharing.

This is still the first version, so there may be bugs or things that don’t feel perfect yet. We’ll keep improving it, and we’re also exploring ways to integrate this kind of sharing workflow into CrealityScan in the future.

If you have 3D scan models, print models, or Gaussian Splatting files, feel free to try it out.

Creator Workflow Spotlight | I wanted this Doomicorn. And I got it!

Builddaniebuild wanted to bring DOOMICORN into the real world 🤘

Using Creality Otter Lite, he turned a favorite game character into a real wearable cosplay prop, showing another fun side of 3D scanning: taking inspiration from the digital world and making it something you can actually wear, hold, and build around.

What game, movie, or character prop would you want to bring into real life with 3D scanning?

Creator Workflow Spotlight | From a clay prototype to metal-finished armor parts

From a clay prototype to metal-finished armor parts — all built through a garage workflow.

In this project, Alex Burkan shows how 3D scanning can help turn handmade shapes into editable digital models, making the whole process more flexible: refining the form, adjusting thickness, designing mounting points, and preparing the parts for fabrication.

The workflow brings together clay sculpting, 3D scanning, digital editing, 3D printing, metal coating, and final finishing. It’s a great example of how scan data can connect hands-on creativity with real-world making.

Not a simple project, but a seriously impressive one, and a reminder that with the right workflow, a garage build can go surprisingly far.
