I was using my PC and the power went out. I turned on my pc and it seemed fine until I noticed that it runs significantly slower. Pretty much all video games are running at 30fps or less. I can run browsers and such just fine.
> I run an sfc /scannow which cleans up a few corrupt files
> I run a chkdsk /f /r after some researching and reboot my pc
> My pc then was stuck on a black screen with my mouse consistently flickering nonstop with the loading symbol, but I could hear music and such in the background as if it was working fine
> I kept getting random errors that would appear and disappear about files not loading correctly. For example: "Failed to Load Library: gdiplus.dll"
- It also occasionally would flash the windows login screen
> After a few minutes I hard restarted my pc and then my mouse and keyboard stopped working
> Now I can either view my screen just fine but the mouse and keyboard dont work, or Im thrown into the automatic repair screen that tells me it failed and to see advanced options
Does anyone have any ideas? I saw another post elsewhere about reseating the gpu. And another about physically removing the hard drive to back it up and then restoring it
