Best menú del día in Barcelona with more fish than meat?

Hi! I’m looking for places where the menú del día tends to include more fish/seafood options than meat.

Budget is ideally €15 or less if possible.

Preferably somewhere not too far from the city center.

Any recommendations?

Thank you!!

Best budget Spanish lunch near Les Corts?

I will arrive in Barcelona today and I’m looking for a good, budget Spanish lunch spot.

Staying at Aparthotel Atenea Barcelona (Les Corts area), so something nearby would be ideal — but I don’t mind going a bit further if it’s worth it!

Any local recommendations? :)

Cesky Krumlov tickets – which one should I get?

I’m going to Cesky Krumlov next week and I’m not sure which ticket I should buy.

I mainly want to see the kind of views you usually see in travel guides. I’m not especially interested in the history or architecture.

Also, my travel companion doesn’t speak English, so I’m not sure a guided tour would really make sense for us.

In that case, would it be enough to just buy the “Castle Museum and Castle Tower” ticket from the official website?
From what I understand, you can enter anytime between 9:00 and 16:30, right?

Also, I read that the castle tower and museum are open on Mondays.

I’ve heard the castle is usually closed on Mondays, so people recommend not going then—but does that mean it’s actually fine to visit on a Monday in our case?

If so, are there any disadvantages to going on a Monday instead?
Monday works better with our schedule.

Thanks!

Safest/easiest way from Barcelona Airport T1 to Aparthotel Atenea Barcelona (Les Corts)?

I heard metro transfers with luggage can be a bit risky, but is that true?
Would taking a bus + metro be safer?

I’d probably just take a taxi if it weren’t expensive…

*Thanks to everyone who replied to my recent post about Sants station and Abba Sants — I’m still deciding between hotels :/

Has anyone canceled the trip because of the hantavirus news?

We’re supposed to leave Asia for Europe late next week and come back after about 10 days.

But we might end up canceling because my mom, who I’m traveling with, is worried about it.

Are we overthinking this? I was really looking forward to it 😭

How big is Barcelona Sants station?

I’m thinking about staying at Abba Sants in Barcelona.

How far is it really to the Barcelona Sants station gates from the hotel?

Google Maps shows like a 2–5 min walk to catch L3/L5 at Sants, but I’ve seen some reviews saying it feels “far,” so I’m a bit confused.

From the airport, it looks like I could take Renfe and then walk about 6 minutes to the hotel, but would I actually have to walk a lot inside the station with a suitcase?

Also, the hotel doesn’t have a microwave. Any tips on how to save money on dinner without one?

Thanks!

I’m traveling to Europe with my mother.
It might be our last trip together, so I want to capture some beautiful footage.

I’m a complete beginner when it comes to video and camera settings, so I’d really appreciate simple advice on how to get nice-looking footage without overcomplicating things.

Gear:

  • iPhone 15 Pro 256GB (ordering soon)
  • Using the native Apple Camera app (no third-party apps)

What I’ll shoot:

  • City scenes (mostly urban, not nature-focused)
  • Selfie-style walking shots (rear camera + ultra wide, using a selfie monitor)

Shooting volume:

  • ~50 clips per day
  • Each clip: 15–60 seconds
  • For about 7 days (300+ clips total)
  • I’ll back everything up to an external SSD daily

Usage:

  • Personal/family memories
  • YouTube upload (mostly watched on laptop, maybe TV later)

Editing:

  • Prefer free or cheap software (like CapCut)
  • I’ve done very basic editing before (just cutting clips together), but no real experience with color or effects

-------
Recently discovered Apple Log (ProRes) and really like the look - 4K + Apple Log seems amazing, so it’s tempting to try.

That said, I’m a bit unsure about a few things:

  • If everything is shot in Log (300+ clips), does color grading become a nightmare?
  • On the other hand, mixing Log and non-Log in the same video sounds like it could look a bit off… how do people usually handle that?
  • Heard that 4K + Log creates pretty huge files. When shooting a lot of clips, is it better to just play it safe and go with 1080p?
  • Or is it smarter to prioritize 4K and skip Log? Can decent-looking footage be achieved with standard color + simple filters?

Would love to hear how people approach shooting travel vlogs on an iPhone.

Thanks in advance!
