Halo fandom so divided I made a political compass on the matter 💀

Everyone chill until the Anarcho-bungie pulls up 💀.

X axis is how different the gameplay/design of halo should stray from itself (left being change, right being do not)

Y axis is how conservative you are for lore changes

I think I placed “humans are forerunner” in the right place (given how they will say they’re staying true to the “true” lore), but it also absolutely could be in the revisionist quadrant given how forerunners are not in fact human.

Some songs CRIMINALLY underutilise certain riffs/samples/parts on songs, or are just WASTED on being on pretty bad songs in general.

My picks go to

Wasted riff - Beg for me by Korn (3:27 to end).

genuinely could've been the intro to another song. Could've rivalled falling away from me.

Wasted sample - Soukaripa by pleymo. (Intro)

The intro to this song genuinely FUCKS for no valid reason. I just discovered it today and i expected a 10/10 song to come out of it. Was HUGELY disappointed.

Listen for yourself, disappointing stuff.

Wasted part - Limp Bizkit - 9 teen 90 nine (breakdown at 2:50 to end). The "you want to get down with the G shock" part goes unbelievably hard. Should've been emphasised in its own song more.

Been listening back on L.D.5.0 recently. The intro riff for this song FUCKS. Anything like it? I don’t mind if it’s not Nu. I’ve ventured quite far into Nu metal and nothing really scratches that itch
