Replicate Replay Buffer from OBS with FFMPEG

Hello, everyone. I have a somewhat specific request. You see, I have a separate device for screen recording of a console. The console in question doesn't support replays or anything, so instead I use a capture card. However I don't have a need to record every hour and every minute, only good moments, last 30 seconds at least. I did a lengthy search on the web but couldn't find exactly what I need. Maybe you know a bash script that can do this? I will appreciate that.

edit: fixed some mistakes

Recordning at double the speed

Hello. I would like to record using h264_vaapi (I am on linux), but when I do I am capped at 30 fps and 0.5 speed.

https://streamable.com/evtq1l

Here is the command:

ffmpeg -hide_banner -f v4l2 -s 1280x720 -r 60 -i /dev/video2 -vaapi_device /dev/dri/renderD128 -pix_fmt vaapi -vf 'format=nv12,hwupload' -c:v h264_vaapi output.mkv

I also tried with -fps_mode passthr
ough, but it changed nothing

Dumping drawings from the camera calender

I really love my DSi and my girlfriend, so we had an idea of using the camera app as a diary for everything we did differenly. I think drawing memos in the camera app gives more meaning and more value to everything you do. We already once lost a month of drawings because of some random memory error or something (the photos are intact thankfully). Now we want to do things differently: dump the camera app from the system memory to an sdcard with hiyaCFW (for extra compatibility and aethetics) and back up the drawings once on a while. I picked at the system files with godemode9i in search for the drawings files but couldn't find any. I hope I am just looking in the wrong place or using wrong tools, so I am asking for your assistance. How to backup camera memos?

Are WMs good for programming skills development?

I was always interested in WMs, sway particularly. The only thing that was stopping me was time. I didn't feel a make over of my workflow would be worth the time. Staking windows layout of Gnome was "good enough" for my job, so I didn't see an urgency to switch. I knew that sway has benefits for my particular needs, but still, it wasn't enough. Now I am getting interested in programming and problem solving. I used to play LittleBigPLanet as a kid and I was making some impressive things that would make adults marvel. But it is in the past, I don;t have the flexibility of the mind I had when I was a kid.

I know that making your setup requires manual scripting and coding, so would it make me more familiar with the process of programming as a whole? Like something similar to Scratch. I see here a potential, but would you encourage it?
