Had it since around 2008. It's been in this state for at least 10 years now. Wondered if there was anything at all I could do to fix it/turn it into something else etc. Thanks :)

Hi I'm been wanting a DSi for so long mainly for Flipnote and my grandma snagged a what was stated as a normal DSi last week for me for 200$ off of Facebook market place and when we picked it up it turned out to be a DSi xl so I'm looking forward to moding it. It also came with a few games.

I assume it's because the last owner played very rough with it, is it fixable? Or do i need to replace it

If so, where and how can i do that? How can i choose the right screen and model?

A while back I ordered some pokemon games online and the repo cart for black 2 was instead loaded with a Rom of pokemon blaze black 2. Its one of the repo carts with a micro SD on top. I have a SD to USB adapter and I was wondering what the process to swap out the current rom with an actual pokemon black 2 rom would be. Does anyone have any articles or videos I can follow?

Really looking forward to this. I know they’re not as popular as the later versions, but I’ve held one before and it’s very comfortable.

The top screen seems to have backlight bleed in the top corners, and the bottom screen has a bit of yellowing (the camera doesn't pick it up too well), but I heard the yellowing can be fixed over time. My boyfriend just gifted me this Japanese DS Lite for my birthday, with its box.

Worst case, I have repaired quite a few game consoles and misc electronics and have amateur soldering skills.
