Anyone has experience with this display + board combo?

Seems too good to be true:

  • 4" IPS with capacitive touch
  • Built in esp32 s3
  • SD card slot
  • Mic and speaker and battery ports

And it cost less than $20:??

What's the catch? The only thing that popped was that there's no mention of PSRAM (msged the seller, let's see what they say). But I can't find any reviews on it which makes me worries.

They market it for use with AI chat bot, but I don't care. Seems like a good deal if you don't need the extra GPIOs or stereo sound.

Anyone has it and can share their experience?

Any stores in Dublin (Ireland)?

I'll be in Dublin next month I want to get a Quake (1:10) hopefully from a physical store, but a quick google didn't show up anything promising.

Any recommendation?

Quake from amazon box opened?

I ordered a Quake 1:10 for my wife (bday gift) and Amazon managed to send us the wrong color, but it seems that the stickers on the box were messed with. I'm returning it anyway (due to the wrong color), but was wondering if they box was resealed as well (I notified amazon so I won't be blamed for anything, I didn't unbox it once I saw the color was wrong).

Are the stickers suppose to look like this?

Quake 2S vs 3S

I just ordered my wife a Quake for her birthday that will be joining our fleet, and was wondering if I should get a 2S or a 3S battery for her (and let's be honest, my self).

I don't really care about the 3S speeds (and she's a newbie so we will limit the speed anyway), but Im really dreading the LV issues and read some reports that it happens more on 2S (but couldn't confirm it). The most important thing for both of us is run time (and maybe safety since its her first big rc).

I already have a few 2S batteries, but nothing with high capacity (biggest one I own is a 2200mah 2S), and an ISDT 608AC charger if it matters.

So I come asking for your wisdom: 2 or 3 ? (And if you have specific packs that you have experience with with no LV issues, please let me know).

Is it worth to replace my Asus PG279Q?

My old trusted screen (Asus PG279Q, 1440@144hz) surved me well for many years no (got it in 2018) and overall I'm very happy with it, but I do wonder if it's keeping me back. It's a very good display, but it is old. No HDR, no 4K etc.

The rest of my build is pretty good as far as AM4 will take you:

CPU: 5700X3D GPU: 5080 RAM: 32gb ddr4

I'm not planing on upgrading anything on the PC side in the next few years, but since I can probably get more out of it, I wonder if it's worth the screen upgrade and if so whats the best bangs for bucks that is actually an upgrade.
