I grew up in a forest/beach town so this is my attempt at a themed watch. Originally a red G-Lide GWX-5600C, found the wood strap and adapters on Amazon, found someone selling the transparent green bezel and strap on eBay.

Hey there! Today i went all out and did my 3 watches a hydromod, and I'm not sure if i did all right?, so, if someone could recommend me something or any tips, i did everything with liquid vaseline medical grade and on the G-shock i used a piece of foamy, are the bubbles the right size?

Still waiting for a few more to get here.. but I'm enjoying these more in person...

I’m planning to buy a Casio G-Shock GBM-2100 and I found this nylon strap on AliExpress.
The seller says it’s compatible with the GA-2100, GA-2110 and GA-B2100, but doesn’t mention the GBM-2100.
Does anyone know if this type of strap can be installed directly onto the original GBM-2100 case, without changing the case or using an additional adapter?
I’ve attached a picture showing the dimensions and mounting points of the strap.
Has anyone actually tried a GA-2100 / GA-B2100 strap like this on a GBM-2100?

Last year i found that G-Shock dw series (idk i forget the name) with carbon strap is sick, but personally i want using stainless steel strap dw series and actually not a big fans resin bands. But i think it won't fit with Plastic bezel so i buy this oem carbon strap. I mean it's not aftermarket parts but it's look same. Yea it's plastic but it still look sick. Also gbx or gbd has same 16mm lug with another G-Shock series when i check that on G-Shock database website.

I made a custom PCB for my G-Shock and have taken time to dial in step counting and displaying it on the main screen. I'm proud enough of it to share results. I have more boards for those interested.

Would love to get feedback on this G-Shock mod I picked up a few weeks back. I love the way it looks in a vacuum, it feels like a tank on my wrist, and it is the sturdiest, most bulletproof feeling watch I've ever had, but want to get others' perspectives on how it looks on my wrist specifically.

🥹🥹🥳☺️Finally all parts arrived for my 40 birthday. 5610u is on GRefit Titanium bezel and Juelong FKM 22mm strap with resin adaptors. +Brotect 9H screen protector. All in was exactly €200.
The watch got heavier, increased from 50g to 77g. Feel the upgrade with FKM strap.
I feel it is now heavy enough and definitely don’t want to add weight with stainless steel bezel or titanium strap.
I doubt about the ‘CTS’ cut to size strap with clasp coz sometimes i want the strap to be a bit loosen sometimes a bit tight. Depending on activities on the day.
I go to open water, swimming pools and maybe beach often as a coach and swimmer. Need a beater watch to be chemical-resistant to chlorine and sunscreen. Then, need it in classroom to teach. And take care of kids at home.
I was hesitating between 20mm and 22mm. And got no choice on Aliex with the adaptor. Only 22mm is available. Turned out, 22mm is the right choice even for my small 16cm wrist. The titanium bezel makes the watch look bigger. And 22mm can carry this ‘heavy duty’ feeling.

At this stage, i feel like it s a perfect watch for me. I would have anxiety to wear an expensive MR-G. Bluetooth is a minus feature for me. I don’t want to get alerted by my phone. I need a poorman watch to do the job. 👍🏿👍🏿😇

The frustration came from no good bicep band availability and having watch in two hands are just too many questions to answer to peopl

+all default helio straps are 24 mm wide rather than the traditional 22 mm for watch straps,

Ig any better solution or straps that just doesn't overlap

Bezels are cheap (at least relative to a BGD-5650, which inexplicably *still* isn't available in the US) and come in interesting colors. Swapping Bezels is the easiest possible customization. Why isn't this more of a thing?
