I just bought a DW-B5600G-2ER and was wondering what the simplest way would be to get a positive display instead of the original negative one? Replace the whole module? Or can I buy a new lcd only from another positive 5600 family member?

I want to mod a g shock with metal body, but I'm not sure if I want to buy a normal ga 2100 or the new ga b2100 i like that the new one has all the new things, but I'm not sure if it's worth it and if I even can do it, what do you tink shud i buy a normal or the new one, and what color???

I love the look of the DW-H5600, but reviews are a bit meh, I don’t really need the heart rate functionality, or solar charging. But is it possible to make similar looking white square gshock?

Never modded one before, so maybe it’s better to get a black face negative display and a white band? Anyway, thanks for your advice.

Omega and Swatch did a collab and gave us a plastic watch that scalpers flipped for 10x retail. The recent AP collab looks even worse. Imagine if Casio and Rolex did one instead, a metal G-SHOCK in Submariner colourways. One would actually survive being worn.

Is this spot normal? I have been told that this is an injection molding mark. Any help would be appreciated.

I have this mudman and a while back I had to send it to a Casio service centre because the buttons weren’t responding. When I got the watch back a few weeks later, the solar panel in the watch is tilted. I contacted the shop that sent it to Casio and they say it’s like this only and can’t seem to find any fault with the watch and so they won’t send it to Casio. I am somewhat comfortable working with electronics but I’ve never worked on a watch before. How do I fix this? Can I do it by myself or send it to someone else? It’s charging just fine but I can’t look at my watch when it’s clearly not perfect. I know what it looked like before the service and this is killing me. I am currently based in Dublin, if anyone knows any cheap repair shop near me, I can go to them. I got this fixed in India, if that helps. I also just got to know that the solar panel is glued in, so that would be a tough job to remove and reattach as well.

With HR and night sleep tracking turned off, the battery lasted about a month.

As you can see I'm at the very end of the strap and the keeper keeps sliding off (the watch has already fell off my wrist once)

What are some good alternatives? I kinda like the rubber straps

Aftermarket parts on an original Bluetooth module

It had been lying in my drawer for a long time, it was my first G-Shock. I decided to take care of it recently, I changed the bezel, polished it and added a red polarizing filter.

My g shock has its display stuck....I tried pressing adjust, mode, etc and their combinations ...nothing worked....Any body know how to fix this?

Each link I find when googling unfortunately is a dead end. Does anyone know a place where this might still be available?
