Went over to my Son and future daughter in laws house for some football/cookout shenanigans Sunday. He showed me what he found on their walk back to the car Saturday night after a concert.

Of course I welcomed him to the family and told him I was very thankful that he didn't buy it, because...well obviously you can't buy just one Casio, let alone just one G-Shock!!

Hopefully he didn't contract the "G-S Virus" as it wasn't in his possession more than about 10 hours!!

Once I saw it, and looked it over, I promptly took it out to our car and told him I would get it cleaned up and a new battery put in it (I felt like I was hiding kryptonite from Superman) ,it was a pretty close call I could tell by the way he kept staring at it with this little crooked smile and twitching left eye🤣😂🤣

Was wondering, when I do my metal case/band swap to this 2100 if doing the hydro-mod would get rid of the "mirror effect" that some times happens while swimming and the watch is positioned at a very minor angle.

Or would getting a sapphire crystal with AR coating be more of what I'm looking for to eliminate the "mirror effect"

I do understand that doing the hydro-mod will shorten the battery life and I will in essence have to "redo" the hydro-mod everytime I have to change the batteries.

For people who have done this mod for this reason, is or was it worth having to redo the hydro-mod everytime or would you have done something different??

As I was doom scrolling off my jetlag last night I can to what appears to be a bunch of wild modified watches made to look like crazy Duros!! Not like the ones I'm used to seeing that may have different straps or bezels. But according to Casio, actual casio made watches!!!

I'm super new to this community mainly just a "lurker" but waiting on the right Duro that steels my heart that I can't live without!!!

So if you would guys, tell me your thoughts on these. And maybe if you could which one you would get.

I have been looking all weekend for a 20mm watch band that is white/as white as possible, that glows in the dark blue. Like in the picture. The only company I have been able to find that sells/sold them is "LuxMark Straps". And they appear to have either changed all of their contact information but forgot to do so on the website OR went out of business. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!
