A typhoon, mojave, fraction, and a drift car from hpi.
They seem over run for me but I am not sure.

I upgraded a Typhon MEGA 665 with a 4274 2000kv brushless motor, 4S battery, and a Amazon 35kg servo. The pinion is 15T 0.8 while the servo is only on 6V right now until I can program the ESC. Everything else is stock.
I'd like to keep the off-road tires but is there anything else I can do to maintain traction? I feel like the steering is also very twitchy and like it's always maxing out.

Found this out ast for 450 on marketplace with batteries and other extras just curious on version and if its a good deal. I dont think its rusty just has red dirt on it.
Is there a smaller receiver box to mount in the empty space next to the battery? Want my receiver to keep dry and clean

Got I tink enough slack but when I turn the spur 180 degrees I don’t have any slack. Any advice? Should I adjust more slack?
Trying out some gorilla glue epoxy on both sides and after giving it a couple days this stuff cured but still has some flexibility so hopefully it will hold. Idk bout how well it bonded to the plastic tho, I scuffed it up and wiped it with acetone before applying the epoxy. I will test it out tomorrow if the weather is good.
I broke the shock tower on my Grom, fixed it with glue and a screw, but I’m going to replace it anyway.
Also be adding a GPM Aluminium 7075 Alloy Front Damper Plate and and JOYSOG Stainless Steel Front Rear Chassis Armor Protection Plate.
Am I wrong to assume I can just remove and reinstall all parts? Or is it best to replace some of the O-Rings or shims? (Couldn’t find any on the exploded view)
What grease would be the best on the outside of the diffs?
Haven’t tested these 8374R wheels yet (first picture) but the traxxas 9375R in the 2nd picture are way too grippy on pavement when finally warmed up. Could probably make them work with suspension tuning but just sharing for anyone considering them. Will review the 8374R.
2 and half years old. My little guy won’t put down his Jeep crawler. My girl just wants to be chased by the cars (“Run Away!”) and I’ll let her occasionally control a 1:16 Hyper Go that she’ll inevitably gun right into him.

I just ordered my wife a Quake for her birthday that will be joining our fleet, and was wondering if I should get a 2S or a 3S battery for her (and let's be honest, my self).
I don't really care about the 3S speeds (and she's a newbie so we will limit the speed anyway), but Im really dreading the LV issues and read some reports that it happens more on 2S (but couldn't confirm it). The most important thing for both of us is run time (and maybe safety since its her first big rc).
I already have a few 2S batteries, but nothing with high capacity (biggest one I own is a 2200mah 2S), and an ISDT 608AC charger if it matters.
So I come asking for your wisdom: 2 or 3 ? (And if you have specific packs that you have experience with with no LV issues, please let me know).
