I'm getting more and more disheartened. I'm afraid they'll cancel the game or withdraw the global server.

edit to expand: I've been feeling down all day. Had terrible sleep because of Infold, and I'm feeling generally anxious. Doesn't help that I'm studying for an exam. I wish they would just address this issue, yet I fear what might happen. (Yes, I know 1st of July is a national holiday in China. I'm aware they're not allowed to use social media for the day)

Hello everyone. So, many years ago I received a modded 3ds as a personal gift. After playing with it for a bit, though, the 3ds stopped working (as in, if I turned it on only the blue light would turn on and no screens).
Recently I've been getting back into gaming, and I wanted to utilize it. Turns out, I only had to remove the sd card and reinsert it to make it function again.
Now it turns on, it charges perfectly, but I still don't know what to do with it.
From what I've gathered, it has homebrew and lumads, but considering it was modded like 10 years ago, I think I might need to upgrade it.
Problem is, when I go into the Lumads menu (the little star thingy), the 3ds just crashes, causing me to having to turn it off, take out the sd card and reinsert it.
If I want to play DS games and such, I do need to update the whole mod thing, right?
I am familiar with how roms work. So in order to play games, do I jus need to upload the roms into the sd card?
