Nashville’s Big Band Dance Tradition

Nashville's Big Band Dance is hosted by local legend and Master of Ceremonies Dave Eastman, who brings to the stage his signature charm, wit, and love of Nashville’s Big Band Community. Whether you are a ballroom regular or a total beginner, the evening is fun for all ages!

Line up for this Saturday, June 27:

  • 7:00 PM: Free dance lessons provided by Dynamic Ballroom and Performing Arts (no partner or experience required).
  • 7:30-10 PM: Rory Partin & his All-Star Big Band take the stage for live music and community dancing.
  • Food & Drink: Food trucks include J&D Smokers, Millie's Food Truck, Chicken Shack Express, and LoveFest Lemonade. Water available for purchase at the CPN tent.

Visitor Information

The Big Band Dance Series is a free, family-friendly event open to the public. Limited parking is available throughout Centennial Park. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early and check the schedule for the specific weekly location during the park's revitalization.
