GASTRIC SLEEVE CONCERNS
I have one Lifestyle class left to complete until I can have my procedure submitted to my insurance. I'm hoping to get scheduled for the month of July. I'm getting a little nervous about the procedure to the point that I'm sort of convincing myself to reconsider. I'm concerned with being able to return to work a week after my procedure. I may be able to work from home for a bit. Also, I'm concerned with losing my hair. I'm ok with not being able to eat regular food for a while but not sure how the lack of nutrients will affect my body since I have been diagnosed with PCOS, FATTY LIVER, and INSULIN RESISTANCE. Seeing all the success stories have me really excited and ready for the change. I feel like by doing the sleeve surgery I am finally choosing myself. I hear so many people say how it's like a rebirth and there are so many things I want to do in life. One would be feeling more confident in my own skin.
Any advice for how to prepare myself for the procedure?
If you had the procedure, did you lose your hair?
Any suggestions for hydration and protein intake after the procedure?
Any help is appreciated, even if it's not listed in this post. I'm genuinely looking for people who have had this completed and can educate me on what I'm in for.
