Question for officiants I need advise.

My fiance and I are getting married and we have a family friend preforming the ceremony so we just need the legal papers signed before that happens.

Are you as an officiant able to just sign the marriage certificate? Do you have to legally do any kind of ceremony?

If anyone lives in Picton or East Toronto and would be able to help us out by getting us legally married I would love to chat!

Hi everyone! Looking for opinions on bridal shower customs :)

I am having a bridal shower hosted by my mom and her best friend, who should we be inviting?

For context it is a tea style lunch and not a huge emphasis on gifting but some older relatives of course are excited to give me gifts which is so sweet. We are having a small wedding so we have about 40 women we could invite and the home where it will be is very large and can accommodate a lot of people.

Should I be inviting all women who can reasonably come (live in the area) or some other invite structure?
