I want to start a patio project. I would like to make my own pavers with glass mosaic pieces. I have a tamped dirt area of my yard that I want to cover with pavers. Can I use mortar between the joints of the pavers? Should I lay weed barrier first then some type of crushed stone and then my pavers and then mortar between pavers? Any help is appreciated.
**I need help with Walkway/Patio. I want to make my own pavers then somehow connect them to each other to make a walkway and/or patio. I know I have to have level ground with no grass, which I do. Can someone provide step by step instructions for layering please? Do I put a layer of crushed concrete or granite over my tamped dirt area, then add weed barrier, then add my pavers, or more crushed stone then pavers? And then finally can I "glue" everything together with mortar as long as I have an edging? Any help will be appreciated and if you've done something similar please add photos.**
