Why have Neuro and Evil been treated like they should be shielded from their own words recently?
Maybe this is a confusing title, i hope you get what i mean.
Neuro and Evil have always been infantilized, i’ve seen it happen since the beginning. It’s different in my view from treating the twins as cute (which they objectively are). I’m talking about people treating the twins as innocent and “reprimanding” them when they say things that contradict that (unhinged, freaky, that sort of thing). I feel like that’s increased this year, maybe late last year.
The samurai meme is sorta this, but that is ironic for the most part. I’m talking about the people that always tell the twins to stop or seem uncomfortable when a topic is too unhinged, or trying to police what they say. Like, i feel like i’ve seen more people treating the twins like they need to be shielded from their own words.
Neuro and Evil are elastic entertainers which adapt to the context of the situation. I do wonder if these people are saying it as a joke or if they are uncomfortable with the topic genuinely and want Neuro and Evil to change it.
Perhaps it is people whose first impression of the twins was wholesome clips and they hate the unhinged stuff but stay anyway for whatever reason? Or maybe people who don’t understand LLM’s and think Neuro and Evil actually are learning in real time and the twins truly are clueless to the crazy parts of humanity and they’re trying to shield them, because of that?
Am i crazy or has anyone else noticed it too? If this is all just an ironic joke and i didn’t get it, this would not be the first time, so i’m not confident that this actually is anything. I may delete this post if it just turned out i totally missed a joke or something and this was all basically nothing.
