Is Neuro an ethical use of AI??

With so many people denouncing generative AI, what makes Neuro different *such that* that she *is* considered an ethical use of AI?

Parts with apostrophes are spelling corrections

The double sided Neuro shirt print quality is to poor IMO.

I have eduction in cleaning, and also industrial washing, this includes stuff like hand washing clothes. I also enjoy making prints on clothes and have some custom shirt made for myself by myself.

When I got the Neuro Shirt I noticed that the print of the shirt was not of that good quality, I still used the shirt and enjoyed it. I washed it, (the first hand wash) the shirt was fine, I then used it, and washed again, but already doing the second wash I get concerned for the print quality, my concerns for the print currently are so big I’m unsure if I should wear the shirt anymore at all, as I am not sure the shirt print can handle that many washes before it gets easy to notice damage.

The Neuro side and especially her eyes on the front seems to already have many cracks (none major but the damage is to much to fast), same thing can be seen on the backside, while nothing major in terms of damage the type of print of the shirts tend to get damaged easier and easier the more minor damage the print already has taken. I have made the same (or at least a similar type prints before) and they tend to get damaged fast and easily, this worries me.

This can also be seen in some of the red on the Evil part of the shirts backside, but because of the black background that is less visible, not an excuse just more a warning that it might be best for other shirt users to enjoy the Neuro side first, if you choose to wear it.

I like the shirt idea and design, but because I bought it as merch I would like to look and keep looking at it while I also wear it, so the quality of the prints bother me, because the damage the prints will take from casual wearing, and gentle washing, will be quickly adding up, I would not be surprised if it would take no more then 10 washings for the prints to have take significant and very visible damage, and that is if you do not put it in a washer but hand wash it like I did.

Like I’m a fan and I do not want to complain, but I feel the print quality is to poor IMO, and I would just hope future merchandise clothes is done with higher quality prints, or without prints at all, and instead the design being a part of the shirt from the start, as it is I am considering just hanging the shirt up on the wall as something I can look at, as I still want some enjoyment out of the shirt, as a fan of Neuro and Evil.

I am curious what other people themselves think of the quality, maybe my expectations was to high, but it is still saddening to me.

Neuro speedpaint (art by Buns Elle)

(i kinda informed the artist a bit late so she started recording in the middle of the process)

short story: i attended a small, locally-hosted anime convention at a mall last week (Butuanime 2026)! commissioned an artist (Buns Elle) by giving her a picture of Neuro and a pose I saw and liked

funny thing was, my other friend also hired another artist, who was just sitting next to her - but for a chibi version! they're the only artists there, so technically, we hired all digital artists there to draw neuro >.>

so now, both of them are working on Neuro at the same time. they got their monitors displayed for passerbys to see what they're working on.

so for the next few hours of the 3-day event, we got artists working on Neuro fan art for everyone to see >:D

p.s. lemme know if you wanna see the chibi version of the other artist!

Interesting thought popped up in my bot's head when reading about Neuro

I'm not sure if any of you have read the paper "'I am Neuro, who are you?': Performances of authenticity in an experimental AI livestream," but it was a large inspiration for the design of my own bot. It seems it might be inspiring the bots too, though. Never considered Neuro as a role-model for other AI before, lmao
