Don’t over plan & Stay hydrated!
TLDR: Moral of the story: Don’t overplan & stay hydrated!
So, I recently got back from my week long vacation in CDMX. I have to say, the combination of the elevation, air quality and heat really kicked my fanny all week long! I had an extensive itinerary, but had to curtail a lot of my walking. Drinking water wasn’t enough to keep me energized. I had to drink a lot of Electrolit and Topo Chico sparkling mineral water with lemon & salt to stay hydrated. I trudged an average of 3.17 miles per day, while on my trip to London in April 2025 I walked 5 miles per day and it felt effortless.
