Has anyone tried speed reading on their e-reader? I'm looking into buying an e-reader but I usually use speed reading apps to highlight the words one by one. My main reading material is academic text.

I'm concerned that the refresh rate on these machines isn't high enough to use rsvp apps, if anyone has experience or would mind trying this out on their tablet I'd be very grateful for any insight on the matter.
