Cable mod Cable stats VS the stock cables. Both run on the Steel Nomad benchmark.

So I got my custom cable today and noticed that under load it spikes to 9.2A with as much as 2A difference in pin load across the pins. This doesn't seem stable. I have an Astral 5090 and a Straight Power 11 1200W Platinum.

I also tried the Cable Mod Basics version of the same cable and got the same results which makes me think it's not a faulty cable. Am I missing something here? Cables were definitely fully seated in both the PSU and GPU.

Using the stock adapter and PSU cables i don't have this issue so I don't think it's a GPU or PSU issue. Why might this be happening?
