Any advice on what I should do? [Discussion]
Just to preface, I'm (20f) and he is (19m). I need all the advice I can get pls and ty.
So there’s this guy I developed a huge crush on in one of my classes this semester. Around mid March we got grouped together for projects and ended up talking a lot after that. I then realized we have lots in common (same major, same interests, both introverted/shy, etc.) and we always made an effort to talk in class. We also exchanged numbers for assignments.
The semester ended a few days ago and I found out he actually lives 35 minutes away and only attended my campus because the course at his own college campus was full, so I’ll probably never see him again. On the last day, I asked to take a picture of him wearing some heart shaped glasses our professor left at the table. He was shy about it at first but still agreed, (keep in mind he is very introverted and a little stand-offish) and he smiled at me instead of the camera which honestly stuck with me (and broke me lol). I saw this as huge, since he must've felt comfortable around me enough to allow me to do that I think.
Now, I’m debating if I should reach out and try becoming official friends then later down the line ask him out. He is kind of dry over text though, but he usually replies quickly when I message him. I’m just scared of him not responding, me coming off as annoying or awkward now that the semester is over. Even if he said yes to being friends what would we even do? Any tips?
