I’m looking for some ideas for how to make FaceTime calls with grandparents go a little more smoothly. No matter how we prepare my kids (one 5 year old and one 2.5 year old) they lose it as soon as the call starts. They start jumping around, crashing into each other and us, and the furniture. They scream or babble in gibberish and won’t listen to the questions their grandparents are asking. They run away or just start talking and won’t stop. It’s no fun for anyone and the grandparents want to see their grandkids more but we end up overwhelmed and feeling judged. Any ideas?
