English is not my first language (sorry!) so I’ll try to keep this brief. This morning I found some tiny insects on the pages of two books I keep near my bed. I’ve thrown the whole pile away.

What should I do now? I vacuum and mop the floor once a week, and I recently took a box of books from under the bed and threw it away (precisely because I was worried about booklice). I also checked the bookcase and my desk with a magnifying glass but didn’t find anything. Where they come from? Maybe the room is damp? I've never had mold nor pests and always try to air the room.

And how to get rid of them?
