Watch 8 wrist sensor not working
My wrist sensor on my Watch 8 is not working properly.
I texted with several Support agents and they have not been helpful. In all cases, the Samsung Support agent stopped responding after I provided them the information they requested.
The wrist sensor does not automatically detect my wrist when I put the watch on. I need to turn the watch on and off several times, wipe the sensor and sometimes the wrist sensor will engage and start working, and be fine until next time I take the watch off, and then the issue starts again. Prior to about 3 weeks ago, this issue did not exist and the sensor worked fine right when I put the watch on. I have to spend 10-15 minutes messing with the watch every time I put it on to get the sensor working. Some days I can't get it working at all.
So far I have tried:
Toggling the sensor on and off
Restarting the watch
Forced restart
Full factory reset
Cleaning the sensors
None of these resolved the issue. I am wearing the watch properly and in the proper location. I do not have tattoos.
What else can I try? Is there a better way to contact Support where I will get help?
