I recently bought a Galaxy Watch 8 and noticed that there are few useful apps. As it has very good technical characteristics, I currently have a little free time and I want to develop an application for wearOS, I want to know what functionalities you think the device is missing.I got some ideas but im not sure how good they are.
I picked up the Watch 6 Classic 47mm LTE to replace my 5-year-old Watch 4 Classic. Got it for only ₹12.5K during the Prime Day sale in India. I specifically wanted the rotating bezel and there's no clasic 7 in existence and I am not really a fan of the squircle design of the Watch 8 classic.
Is this deal worth it? Is the watch still worth it in 2026 at this price point and features? I am planning to use it for atleast 4-5 years and mostly wear the watch only during the day for call and work notifications and to track my steps and for some fitness activities. Also, it goes well with my all Samsung ecosystem, buds, tab, laptop.
PS : I am totally into Samsung andriod ecosystem. My first smartwatch was the Gear S3, which I used for 4–5 years with Samsung S9 and later with S20 before upgrading to the Watch 4 Classic in late 2022. I currently use S24 and plan to upgrade to S26/27 next year and will continue using the 6 classic with it. I've always loved the rotating bezel.
Why the foooook have i started getting adverts?
My watch got stuck on a boot loop after a while loop stopped and closed, so I plugged it into the charger and.... it's still loops if I try to open (it's watch 4 classic)
Update: now it doesn't even charge and it doesn't loop now samsung logo only 1 time and screen tearing
Edit: before all this happened it started saying over heating but it's wasn't it was cool it closed it self and this happened
I have old tizenos samsung galaxy watch 3, it still running stable so i want make it better with another watch face, i used to download on xda, but doesn't like it, so if anyone have another beautiful watch face, can you share me pls:3

Hi, recently might be cos of the update.
It took about 45 minutes to fully charge today but previously it would take about an hour and 15 to an hour and 30 minutes something like that, but recently after full charge, within 15 to 30 minutes the battery status is down to 75 %, anyone else notice any anomaly with their watch 5 pro recently?
Has anyone moved over from Garmin to a Galaxy Watch, particularly the Ultra series? I have a Fenix 7X and I would like to try out the Ultra 2 when it is released.
The key factors drawing me to it are that I don't enjoy the big size anymore and I have a Galaxy phone, so I feel like software integration will be good, the screen will be 10x better, and the UI will be smart. I use my 7x to track workouts in the gym, runs, and just general health.
I have finally upgraded from great buds and a great watch to greater buds and a greater watch.

I'm currently using a Galaxy Watch 6 and I'm thinking about upgrading.
At the moment, I'm considering two options:
upgrading to a Galaxy Watch 8 (if I can find a good used deal), or switching brands and trying out the Google Pixel Watch.
The only thing that's holding me back from switching is that I use a Samsung phone, and I don't plan on moving to a Google Pixel phone anytime soon. Because of that, the Galaxy Watch 8 is still a strong option for me.
For those of you who have switched from a Galaxy Watch to a Pixel Watch:
Was it worth it?
Did you miss any Samsung-exclusive features?
Were there any limitations or compatibility issues when using the Pixel Watch with a Samsung phone?
If you had the choice again, would you stay with Samsung or switch to Google?

I want to buy it as a gift for my dad so he can check his blood pressure frequently and keep track of it. However, I'm worried about compatibility because he has a Samsung S10e. I don't know if the phone is too old now, and I've heard there might be compatibility issues or that it may not work at all. I wanted to check if anyone here is currently using an S10 series phone with this watch?
I use my watch during gym sessions for 2hrs daily. I tend to take frequent breaks, somelonger than others. I want to be able to have a ballpark calories burnt count to adjust my meals. Currently use the "Other Workout" option in the default healt app but it shows several hundred calories when I haven't moved a lot.
Probably corrupted firmware? Can we fix this? I'm unable to boot it, reset and data wipe didn't work
I really like the RE 23 but it has to little customisability for my liking, the battery bar looks bad
