Hey there. I’ve had this above my upper lip for a week. Initially it started Monday night as a red spot, then got bigger by Friday, and as of today(Sunday) it looks like it may be filling with puss? Anyone that works in healthcare that I’ve asked either isn’t sure or doesn’t think it is because it doesn’t fit the usual timeline for a cold sore (by day 7 it would’ve usually ruptured and scabbed). Pics one and two are from Monday, 3 is Friday, and 4 is today. Any thoughts on what this could be are greatly appreciated, as it doesn’t hurt and is just confusing. My guess is maybe folliculitis since I’ve been using lip balm religiously since Wednesday for dry lips.
