I have made several quillows successfully but the last two I've made have ended in total disaster. The batting is disintegrating! I like to wash my projects before gifting them and it felt super lumpy when coming out of the dryer. Used a seam ripper to open up one side and this is what I found. What am I doing wrong? My mom thinks I may have gotten a bad batch of batting.... Let me know what you think. I use a cotton batting from Amazon, no stabilizer, fabric from Home Goods. It's so much work seam ripping but I'm determined to fix this! Tips, criticism and advice welcomed!
